JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in all areas of the facility by following procedures and policies established by Housekeeping/Laundry Services. General cleaning and upkeep of resident living areas, public space, and offices. Laundry of facility linens and residents personal clothes. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Retrieves and transports soiled linen to designated linen service collection area. Specific duties are performed on a daily basis and vary among nursing units and departments. Specific duties of the position may vary from day to day depending on the assigned area of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required.
Must have the ability to read, speak, and write the English language.
Must follow oral and written directions
Previous housekeeping experience preferred. On the job training.

Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing clinical patient services and support within the location. The Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) provides all modes of respiratory care and diagnostics, on physician order, within the facility as required. Acts on a broad knowledge base and experience in working with physicians and other health-care providers. This is accomplished without direct supervision in most cases. The Registered Therapist may act as a resource person for other members of the department.

Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

Certification / License Regulation:

Current license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
Current Certification or Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program.

Dietary services are a major piece of the center’s work, and this thriving unit seeks a Cook to join its ranks. This entry level position works directly with the Director of Dietary to ensure quality nutritional/food services are provided daily.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing high quality, nutritious food, as directed by the daily production sheet
Carving and portioning meat for service • Serving hot foods on tray lines
Checking special diet trays for accuracy
Cleaning the kitchen, equipment and food service spaces, as instructed
Ensuring minimal food waste, in both preparation, service and consumption
Ensuring safe operation of kitchen and food service equipment
Additional food service responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications:

This is an entry-level position with significant growth potential. Candidates must be high school graduates or possess a GED equivalent and have some prior experience in cooking/food service. Specific healthcare/geriatric care service is preferred, but not required. Candidate must be able to provide driver's license or personal identification card at the time of interview and must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
